Blacksmithing Intensive - 3 days to make a Pirate's Cutlass

Three day Cutlass (sword) making workshop! This is an ADVANCED CLASS, highly recommended you have had one of our knife making classes in addition to "Introduction to Blacksmithing". Class is the Monday through Wednesday during the school holidays before Thanksgiving, starting at 9:30 and going to 3pm each day (yes you can stay later if you need extra time, but we will close the shop at 6pm). Be ready for the next Billy Bowlegs Pirate festival with a sword that you have made yourself. For any blacksmithing class please wear cotton or natural fabric clothing, long trousers and solid shoes or boots are required, long sleeve cotton (not flannel) shirt highly recommended. We supply your steel, coal, tools, working materials, gloves, eye and ear protection, plus dust masks when necessary but if you have a leather apron you might want to bring it.
